I fly planes all around the world. I also train and examine pilots. In addition to flying planes, I specialise in the human factors side of flying; psychology, teamwork, communications etc.
Lots of people seem to think that’s it's difficult to be a pilot and have a family because of all the travelling, but actually, it can work really well. I have two children and part-time working has allowed me to care for them but also continue my career and gain promotions.

I always thought flying was fascinating and the sky a beautiful place but never thought I could fly for a living; until I met people who did.
I would do Maths to A level even though I was more interested in humanities, as it opens up so many careers.
