I was never one of those super technical people. I have used my engineering degree (and other tools) to support the different roles that I've been exposed to. I find that having that technical background - and being able to understand technical processes at a high level - allow you to communicate effectively with all types of business personnel.
Don't be afraid to try something new - even if you don't have all of the skills! Ask questions, reach out for support. If you think that you are part of a team, you can get more done than a single individual.

Liked Math and Science. Less keen about English and Social Studies as the answers were less right / wrong.

Communication skills to get / give information from others. Basic excel, word and power point skills
Understand basic operational processes so that we can discuss with Operator
Practice, practice, practice. Watch how senior leaders carry themselves and present their information. Ask for feedback.
I knew I wanted to go into something where I used my brain. I liked math and science. Also, I didn't want to go to school for 10 years.
I wouldn't change anything - but I would have more comfort in knowing that an engineering degree opens up a whole set of opportunities.
