Unsure what to ask? Why not ask one of the questions on our inspiration list?
Researcher, University of Bristol

I completed a year-long research placement investigating diagnostic factors in Alzheimer's disease with the Dementia Research Group at Southmead Hospital. I completed dissections, tissue processing, data analysis and report writing.

Science Teacher, Cardiff City Council

Taught secondary science lessons (age 11-18) as part of the Teach First Leadership Development programme in central Cardiff. I also ran the I'm A Scientist: Get Me Out of Here! engagement event where pupils in year 7 & 8 had the chance to take part in a week-long competition including live chats with current scientists.

Management Consultant

I solve business problems!
Specifically I have been involved in designing a mobile app that allows training programmes to be more accessible and effective. I have also used Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to build processing robots to complete mundane tasks (eg. receiving and sending emails).

My current job as a management consultant!
I love the variety of the work that I do and I have a wealth of opportunity to swap and change as I feel in this job. I love that one minute I can be coding a new robot for a business and the next minute I could be helping to change a culture in a company. I learn so much about different types of organisations every day and am building a variety of skills at the same time. No day is the same!

Accounting, banking & finance

Go with your gut! Choose a subject/career that you genuinely think you'd enjoy. Don't worry about getting it right first time, you need to 'try before you buy'! Don't be afraid to change your mind. It's just a job, pick something that you love doing and it won't feel like work.

I loved science, spanish and business studies at school but thought that science offered me the best job opportunities. I hated English and had to stay behind after school to boost my grade! I have always struggled with mathematics but enjoy the challenge of it.
