I have loved lots of different aspects of most of the jobs I have had. I loved the science and investigation side of being a Forensic Scientist and I love working for Amazon. In Amazon I have enjoyed seeing the operational side of the business, getting stuck in/hands on and I love the customer obsession side of Amazon which is close to my current role.

I grew up in the midlands and went to University in Kingston Upon Thames. I never really left the south and currently live with my husband and two children in North London. Outside of work I love food (coking and eating), rugby, surfing, traveling and generally hanging out with my family.

Have faith in yourself and do what interests you. You will always be successful if you do things you enjoy as it will give you passion and drive to overcome hurdles. I loved science and always thought my career would be within this field but it hasn't turned out like that as I took opportunities to try new things and followed those new skills/experiences which I enjoyed. You have the power to do what you want to do, it may not be immediately obvious how to get there but you can do it.

My Education
BSc Applied Biology
Kingston University
Kingston Upon Thames
Biology, Sociology, General studies, Philosophy
Fairfax Secondary School

Loved science and social sciences. I liked philosophy but I didn't excel at it. Hated exams.

More about me

Stakeholder management, earning trust with stakeholders. Knowing and understanding what is important to others so you can gain buy in. Organisational and communication skills.

Prince 2 and Lean Six Sigma. I started as a Green Belt, then as part of my role coached and mentored others on using lean tools and methodologies which enabled me to become a Black Belt Lean Six Sigma practitioner.

I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to do but I knew I wanted to be int he world of science, particularly human biology. I imagined I'd be working in a lab somewhere doing something with Biology.

Nothing. I have followed all the things which I have had a passion for.
